Nova Rigiditas

"Push back against the age as hard as it pushes against you." - Flannery O'Conner

In an age where Catholic values are dismissed as backward and medieval, now more than ever young Catholics must unite to bolster one another in the Faith. Our young adult group, Nova Rigiditas, currently meets twice monthly, on Thursdays for an evening of Holy Mass & spiritually formative talks, and on Saturdays for lighthearted recreation & fellowship. Past activities have included movie nights, board games, presentations by priests & religious, a presentation on the evils of Hollywood by ex-actor Bug Hall, and even a swing dance. We emphasize the beauty of the liturgy, the rosary, and our traditional roots.

The Culture of Death will not be overcome unless a Culture of Catholicism rises to engage it in the fight, for in many ways it is young Catholics who will determine the future of the Church.

If you or someone you know, between the ages of 18-33, is interested in joining us or would like more information, please contact our young adult leader,
