In Kindergarten, students will. . .

RELIGION:

·          Recognize that God is their Creator

·          Realize that they are part of God’s family

·          Learn Bible stories

·          Recognize that God loves them

·          Know that Mary is the Mother of Jesus and us

·          Learn stories of angels and saints

·          Learn the Our Father , Hail Mary and prayer  to Guardian Angel

·          Learn how to make the Sign of the Cross

·          Realize that love is shown through actions

·          Learn how to express sorrow and forgive others

LANGUAGE ARTS

Reading

·          Identify letters of the alphabet

·          Turn computer On and Off

·          Be familiar with Menu, Compose, Graphic, Print

·          Type own name

·          Dictate story to mentor/buddy

·          Create a picture and label with letters

·          Become familiar with the keyboard

·          Practice locating letter and number keys

·          Practice locating Return keys

·          Use two hands
