In Grade One, students will. . .

 

RELIGION:

·                Recognize Jesus as one’s best friend

·                Speak to Him each day in prayer

·                Respect oneself and every person as loved by God

·                      Listen to God’s word proclaimed

in the Bible and through people who share His love

·                      Know that God is always with us

·                      Be familiar with the symbols of Baptism and what they mean

·                      Know that Baptism gives us God’s life

·                      Participate meaningfully in Mass

·                      Desire to be kind, fair and honest

·                      Ask for forgiveness when one has offended God or one another
