On July 4, 1907 the cornerstone was laid for St. Anthony Church. From that point on, the dedication, zeal, and sacrifice of parishioners through the years has built the St. Anthony Parish Community as we know it today.

Twenty-one priests have served as Pastor of our Parish from its beginning to the present day. Each one has made an impact, adding to the development of our unique St. Anthony personality.

On September 18, 1944 St. Anthony Catholic School officially opened, with an enrollment of 95 students. Through the years our school has been staffed by Mercy Nuns and at the present time the Sisters of Notre Dame, who have ensured the quality education of our children.

In its quiet country setting, St. Anthony Church has continued to offer a close, family-like atmosphere, affording the opportunity to pray together as well as work together. As we continue to face new challenges, the strength and dedication of our people will continue to build on the cornerstone of Christ, uniting our efforts with our faith.

Current membership: approximately 450 families.
